                                                                   Kathryn Grace   So here we go! What an exciting journey. We decided to go with DistroKid for the distribution of the EP  "Am I Somebody ".  To think this is just a seven month time span, and we have an EP of 6 songs, all sung by Kathryn and mostly all written by Kat, and we have distribution and gigs set up for her to start playing. Her music video of "Sad But True" will be shot in a couple of weeks. It's a great song with a little Spanish flavor .  Still closing in on some of the legal matters with our attorney.  With Fathers Day coming, a birthday around the corner, and a week in my home town surrounded by friends and family; and Kathryn Grace playing two gigs and shooting a video, life is good!   I have had the opportunity to be living in the north woods of Wisconsin while working on getting https://www.oneforalice.com up and kicking butt! One forgets how wonderful nature is when living elsewhere. In the last day I have seen.... eagles, White Tail deer with a fawn, Black Bear, Skunk, ya stay away. :)  Life is a wonderful thing I don't take for granted, and I try to live life to the fullest every single day! Today as far as One For Alice, phone calls and trying to get the video shoot booked. I'm still waiting on my attorney, Peter, to get all of the agreements so we can get them signed. So today I worked on my website. https://www.oneforalice.com.      The picture from today's blog was right after spending two excellent days recording in Chicago at the Mix Kitchen. It took me 5 days to recover, just saying!  We decided to burn CD's to hand out at Kat's live gigs.  We can burn them ourselves, fast and a-lot cheaper. Heading to a cookout today then Monday hits.         Am I Somebody   Yes, Kathryn Grace, of the small town of Atlanta Indiana, you are somebody to take note of. This story starts when my buddy, a friend for over 50 years, visited me in Texas. As a teen, Jimmy often sang a song he wrote and it was engraved in my memory. I asked him what ever happened to that tune, which come to find out, only he and I remembered it. After the visit, my wheels were turning. I asked if he would be okay if I found someone to do their rendering with his lyrics. He said sure, why not. I had been listening to Kathryn Grace sing since she was a child on Facebook. Her mother is a friend of mine from my days in Noblesville Indiana. I asked Angie, if Kat would be interested in seeing what she could do with the lyrics.
